52 Week Book Challenge

About the challenge:
Lately, I’ve gotten into the terrible habit of buying books but never reading them. Gradually I’ve been reading less and less. I decided to read at least a book a week every week from the time that I turn 20 til I turn 21. I thought it would be a good way to encourage others to read more too, so I posted it on my Tumblr and thanks to suggestions from you guys, I’ve made a list of 52 books :)
Whilst I was compiling the list, there were a lot of suggestions for books I had already read. As much as I love my books, I realised that they’re not reaching their full potential sitting on my bookshelf. So in addition to reading more books this year, I’ll also be mailing a book every week to someone who wants it.
As my birthday falls on a Tuesday this year, that is when the challenge will begin. Every Tuesday I will tell you which book I’m giving away. To let me know you want it, all you have to do is like or reblog that post within the week (as long as you put your username on that post somehow so I can select you). On the following Tuesday, I’ll use a random number generator and select someone that way, so it’s fair. Remember to activate your ask box because I’ll send you a message asking for your shipping address (:
UPDATE 11/10/11: To make this more interactive I will be adding a “question of the week” as of week 7.
