will.i.am said this on The Voice (UK) about a contestant who went with a safe option, and it stuck with me (I guess he says “that’s dope” a lot but has his rare moments of wisdom). Sometimes we grow under pressure, in uncomfortable places, we learn to be adaptable. It’s easy to get complacent in a comfortable place. It reminds me to keep going and push myself.
Note to self.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to tear down somebody’s work. The hard part is actually creating it. It’s criticism versus creation.
